We offer a full range of medical and surgical services in a modern, clean and professional environment. Vaccinations, Yearly Heartworm Injections, Microchipping, Routine surgical prodcedures, Dentistry and Ultrasound, are all done on site. We have a new and modern operating theatre, treatment room and an air conditioned and comfortable hospital ward. We are located on the border of Wooloowin, Clayfield and Wavell Heights.

Also through our big brother surgery at Ascot, we can offer an even wider range of other services such as X-rays and in house laboratory testing which are all intergrated seamlessly with the Kalinga Park Surgery.

Feline Panleukopaenia

Feline Panleukopaenia or Feline Parvo is a uncommon disease that is highly contagious and has a very high mortality(100%) in untreated cats. Even in treated animals mortalitity rates can be as high as 85%.

It is a completely preventable disease. Vaccinate your cat with a Feline 3 vaccine at minimum to ensure protection year around.

After Hours Service

Here at Kalinga Park we are a little old school, we like to practice continuity of care where possible, to us this means:

Trying to ensure you are always dealing with the same veterinarian.
Providing a service to our clients that works around the clock.

So what does this mean for Our Clients

In the event your pet is unwell after hours, our phone number is diverted to our Senior Veterinarian(Ben) who is in effect on call 24hrs a day 7 days a week. He can provide you with immediate advice concerning your pets illness particularly if it is an ongoing issue that is already under the care of the clinician. In the event that it is felt your pet needs to see a vet after hours, our veterinarian lives close by so we can arrange a time to met at the clinic for an examination and treatment. If this isn't possible, Ben can arrange for an alternative after-hours service to see your pet. Read on for contact numbers.

House Calls

No more crying cats, No more anxious dogs - Kalinga Park Veterinary Surgery is excited to announce our House Call Service. Dr Ben Charlton brings modern veterinary practice and a personalised service to Wooloowin and surrounding areas. Many routine procedures, such as vaccinations and health checks, and some non routine procedures can be preformed in the comfort of your pets own home environment. Our patients will enjoy the comfort and safety of being examined in their homes, while our clients enjoy this convenience at very reasonable prices.
